Best Breweries in Lake County

Open spaces. Good friends. Delicious brews. It doesn’t get much better than kicking back in the Real Florida with a cold, flavorful beer. Thankfully, there are a lot of breweries to choose from. If you want a list of the best, we’ve got them right here. From local favorites to unique spots, here are the best breweries in Lake County.

Wolf Branch Brewing Co. has two locations located in some of the best spots in the area: downtown Eustis and downtown Mount Dora. But location isn’t all they have. They also have some of the best beers around. Check out one of their very own craft beers, like Belgian ales or their rum-barrel aged ale. They also have many others on tap, from tropical and fruity wheat beers, blonde ales and IPAs. Try the coffee milk stout or vanilla porter for something a little deeper. Bottles and cans are available, too, with hard ciders, mead, hard lemonade and more.

Yes, the beers are great, but this brewery is also about the vibe. It’s the perfect place to meet friends or make new ones. Check out trivia nights, bingo and other events like new beer releases. Whichever location you choose, we know you’ll feel at home.

Bru Tap House has 30 craft taps. We could stop here. But we won’t. They have more. Like bottles, cans, seltzers, meads and more. They even have a tasty selection of non-alcoholic beers.

This brewery has a ton of events, too, from car shows and music bingo to trivia, board games and live music, just to name a few. Check out the website or Facebook page for all the details. And to top it all off, this place stays cozy inside and out.

Located in the same building, and run by the same owners, is BTW (burgers, tacos & waffles). This unique eatery is home to mouthwatering handcrafted food, so if you get hungry while hanging with friends, BTW is the place to go.

Welcome to the Windy City! Well, almost. Great Chicago Fire Brewery & Tap Room takes favorites from Chicago and brings them to life in the heart of Leesburg. A full range of beers get the party started, from IPAs to ambers, German beers, lagers, blonde ales and even a full bar, but a Chicago-style menu reigns at this brewery. Order everything from pizza to Chicago Italian sausage, Chicago-style hot dogs, chili, Greek gyros… if it’s authentic to Chicago, Great Chicago Fire has it on the menu.

Events are a big deal here, too. Come for Bike Night on the second Thursday of every month, and check out the car show every third Thursday.

Voted the best place for drinks two years in a row by the Best of South Lake Awards! Suncreek Brewing Company in downtown Clermont has 16 beers on tap and most are their own brews. You’ll definitely want to check out the brewery, though. They’ve got a ton of events, including lots of trivia, and the live music is always on with a range of sounds to suit your taste buds. See what we did there? You’re going to love this place as much as we do.

Two restaurants are co-located inside the brewery, as well. Check them out if you get hungry!
