The cherry on top of summer, will always be ice cream! With temperatures heating up, those summertime scoops are the tried- and-true treat to keep you cool and satisfied all summer long. With National Ice Cream Month kicking off this July, Visit Lake toured six of our favorite local ice cream shops in Lake County, each with a unique take on the creamy dessert.

A local dairy supplies the cream for a nitro-infused treat at Yo Ho Ho Ice Cream in Eustis. Shop owner Tish Patino told us that the ice cream base has only seven ingredients, we gave two of their favorites at try. The first was an infusion of lemon, mint, and lavender, an unlikely yet yummy combo. If you’re a coffee lover, you can give this one a try, too. It has an infusion of Cuban coffee and chocolate.
