The hit show “how to Do florida,” which highlights local destinations and outdoor activities across Florida, is returning to Lake County for a third episode, this time focusing on South Lake-area adventures and attractions.

“Central Florida is not all theme parks and crowds,” said “how to Do florida” host Chad Crawford. “Not far from all that hustle and bustle is beautiful Lake County.”

During the episode, Crawford practices skeet shooting and golf at Mission Inn Resort & Club in Howey-in-the-Hills before ending his day with a massage at Spa Marbella, soars above the county for a birds-eye view of a network of lakes and waterbodies care of the Seminole-Lake Gliderport in Clermont, gets down and dirty on a Mucky Duck at Revolution Off Road in Clermont and samples exotic meats at the Red Wing Restaurant in Groveland.

“From camping and kayaking to world-class fishing, Lake County’s central location makes it accessible from anywhere in the state,” said Crawford. “I’ve been bringing my family here for years. We love the old Florida appeal.”

Over the past two years, “how to Do florida” has also filmed backpacking and lake hopping shows in Lake County.

“We are excited for television viewers to see the energetic and creative ways in which ‘how to do Florida’ showcases Lake County’s unique natural resources and attractions, and hope it inspires them to plan a trip to the ‘Real Florida,'” said Robert Chandler, director of Lake County Economic Growth.

The new episode will premiere in the Orlando market on local ABC affiliate WFTV (Ch. 9) at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 20.  Season 7 of “how to Do florida” will also air on FOX Sports Sun and Fox Sports Florida.
